Benefits
IOP Helps Patients discharged from Inpatient or PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) As well as patients that need more than one session per week. The program’s purpose is to help the IOP patient transition to an outpatient level of care which addresses the patient’s long-term care needs.
In selected instances, the IOP program will accept referrals for patients who need more support than an outpatient program can provide but the IOP level of care is preferable and suitable as an alternative to admission to an inpatient program or a PHP program
