Dr. Dawn DeBrocco, PsyD
Director of IOP, Psychologist
Dawn has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of complex needs. She has served in inpatient and outpatient medical and psychiatric settings, providing individual, group and family therapy.
Age Group:
10-70 years old
Approach to Treatment:
Fluid, dependent upon what is driving the issue (function/underlying factors) and which evidence-based treatment
best fits the needs of the person. For example, if someone came into treatment with social anxiety at school, I would first want to understand
when it began/what factors make the anxiety better or worse, and how they would define improvement. I would also want to understand the
level of distress they are experiencing due to their symptoms, which would inform where we would begin our focus of treatment. Then,
depending on their age, I would discuss with the person the treatment model that would most benefit them.
