Approach to Treatment:

From a symptom-management perspective in order to decrease over- pathologizing. I seek to normalize, validate, and offer support for clients to develop their own skills and strategies to manage symptoms. I like to identify pervasive unhelpful patterns and practice establishing new, more advantageous routines. Additionally identifying core beliefs and how they contribute to negative views of self, others, and the world. After that point, seeking to alter those core beliefs into a more constructive mindset that lead clients toward their goals rather than away from them.
