Nicolette Macri, OTD., OTR/L
My approach to treating is… dependent on an individuals’ unique needs and life circumstances. My focus is to understand the person I am working with, so that I can introduce strategies for skill building and support the establishment of daily routines and habits that have been impacted by one’s condition. When dysfunction is present, it can lead to a plethora of difficulties in managing one’s own well-being, connecting to mind and body, as well as connecting with others. Therefore, the overall goal is to promote independence in daily life while minimizing the impact of one’s mental health on their functioning.
